Sorry for lack of posting over the past couple of days. I've been out of town on business doing the job for which I get paid.
I'm sitting in my hotel room in Knoxville, TN reviewing all the news and commentary I've missed over the last few days.
Here is something that caught my eye and once again is showing the major issue that Democrats continue to face. Gallup is showing the percentage of Clinton and Obama supporters who say they will vote for McCain if their choice is NOT the nominee.
Former Democratic Presidential Candidate Chris Dodd sees this prolonged fight as "devastating."
Hillary herself is telling Democrats in North Carolina, "please don't vote for McCain.'
Clinton donors are sending letters to Speaker Nancy Pelosi urging her, check that threatening her, to stop urging super delegates to back the candidate who wins the most pledged delegates. I said earlier that while Pelosi hasn't endorse Obama or Clinton, she has to want Obama to win. She doesn't want to give up her title as the most powerful woman in Washington.
Pelosi sure didn't appreciate the letter.
Someone else is calling for Gore.
Can't we all just get along!
