SPITZER RESIGNS

POST MORTEM:

Republican, Democrat or neither, there is nothing great about the fall of a person due to personal shortcomings. I didn't agree with Governor Spitzer's politics, but would never wish on anyone, the pain and humiliation that Governor Spitzer's family has endured the last few days.

You reap what you sew, and Governor Spitzer is certainly learning that the hard way. However, in actions like those taken by Governor Spitzer, the pain and humliation goes far beyond the Governor himself. Our thoughts and prayers should be with that of his wife and three girls. They to have to endure pain and humiliation like no one can imagine. The pain of an unfaithful father and husband, as well as the public flogging and humiliation of their father and husband.

When you throw a stone in the water, the ripple effects go far beyond the point of impact. Unfortunately, as Governor Spitzer fades from public view, the ripple effects for he and his family will be felt long beyond the last three days.

There is nothing good about this and those taking joy at the fall of another person need to take a long hard look in the mirror.
