"Had the reverend not retired, and had he not acknowledged that what he had said had deeply offended people and were inappropriate and mischaracterized what I believe is the greatness of this country, for all its flaws, then I wouldn't have felt comfortable staying at the church," Obama said Thursday.
Awfully convenient. This, my friends, is the audacity of convenience.
Obama attends the church for political gain, and now he claims he would leave it for political gain. Only took him 20 years and weeks of scrutiny to make that decision. That, is the decisive leadership and decision making this country needs.
