TN Senator Bob Corker

Here is the transcript of Senator Bob Corker's interview with Nashville Public Radio. Senator Corker, since elected in 2006, has gained a reputation as a Republican with an indpendent streak.

“I don’t think people sent me up here to vote the party line or to vote in popular ways. I told people when I ran that I wanted to make decisions that I felt were in the long-term best interest of our country.”

Senator Corker has been a very good Senator for the citizen's of Tennessee. You may not always agree with him, but you never doubt where he stands. I appreicate that about him and look foward to him representing me in the Senate for a long time.
