Where's Gore?

As I mentioned yesterday, Al Gore has been VERY quiet througout this whole Democratic Presidential Primary.

I personally think Al is staying above the fray for two reason. One, because he was burned so badly by coming out for Dean in 04 and two, because I think Gore is perfectly happy positioning himself as a potential king maker in the fight between Obama and Hillary.

As this continues to drag out, Gore is one of the few in the Democratic Party that could broker a peace between Hillary and Obama. Truthfully, after this bloody primary where both candidates are likely to be damaged goods going into November, Gore is really the only one who could unite the party.

Steve Gill mentioned this a few weeks back and now with
this story emerging it could lead to a heavier whisper.

I believe there is only one person who could come out and realistically change the tenor and outcome of this race and it's Al Gore. If Al would endorse Obama, it would push him over the top, if he endorsed Hillary I think it could very well push her past Obama.

Al is the king maker. He can endorse or he could come in and take the nomination for the good of the party. Gore has already won a Nobel Peace Prize, he would deserve another if he could broker a peace and unite the Democratic after this bloody primary fight.
