Today is the 54th Anniversary of D-Day.
As many of our greatest generation are leaving us, I want to pay a special tribute to my grandfather, R.T. Dismuke who served in Europe during WWII. He wasn't part of the D-Day invasion but served honorably, was wounded in action and received the Purple Heart.
I also pay tribute to my other grandfather, Loren Parks, who passed away in 1992, he too served honorably in WWII.
Please remember, honor and thank all of our WWII veterans on this D-Day anniversary.
