Just for the record, I'm predicting Senator Joe Biden as the running mate for Obama.
He has the foriegn policy experience and overall experience that Obama needs to help fight off the "Obama has no foreign policy experience" argument.
I could be wrong, just a hunch.
Regardless of the pick, Obama's choice will give us all an idea of where he thinks his campaign stands. An older, more experienced choice, like Biden, would show that Obama thinks his lack of foreign policy experience is a weakness. A choice like Governor Tim Kaine, would indicate that Obama feels like he is in a good position for the general election and that foreign policy experience is not a weakness.

Obama meets with Virginia Governor Kaine.
From an electoral map perspective, this makes sense. Virginia going to Obama would be big, however, Kaine's relative inexperience in foreign policy would only highlight the argument I made above.
