Random Ramblings

I've been busy the last few weeks celebrating some family birthdays and my blogging, as you can tell, has been effected. A lot has happened in that time, thought I would take this moment to hit on a few topics.

So...

How about John Edwards? I mean I've always thought the former ambulance chasing attorney/former Senator/former VP candidate was a little slimy, but cheating on your cancer stricken wife??? Who thought you could be worse than an ambulance chasing lawyer?

Does anyone actually believe Edwards is not the father?

The tensions between the US and Russia over Russia's invasion of Georgia is bringing back the good old days of the Cold War. I really like how McCain speaks on this situation daily, while Obama has been issuing statements from Hawaii. Nice!

Anyone else find it interesting how the price of oil has dropped since Bush and the Republicans have started talking about drill offshore? I have nothing to prove that the two things are connected, but sure does make for an interesting coincidence.

Exactly how old are those women Chinese gymnast? Surely, the Communist Chinese goverment is telling the truth?

Can you really believe that this presidential race remains this close in the polls? I mean you can't feel very good if you are a Democrat. Looking at the political landscape, the Democrats have had this election handed to them on a silver platter! The Democrats will be nominating the only Democrat that could lose and the Republicans will be nominating the only Republican that could win. Go figure!
