Jonathan Martin is blogging on the fued between McCain and Palin.
This is what we don't need!
Look, bottom line for McCain, he isn't liked by conservatives. He wasn't my first choice, and for that matter, wasn't my second.
The choice of Palin brought energy to his campaign that was sorely lacking. She united the base. She was bringing out the big crowds and in reality, he only rose in the polls when he selected her as his running mate.
I'm not sure if Sarah Palin will be THE leader of the GOP in the future, but she will certainly be a player.
She's popular and four more years as the chief executive of Alaska will only help her on the national stage.
But this backstabbing and knife throwing is only throwing gas on the fire that is the GOP at the moment.
Besides, if Palin is truely to blame for McCain's loss (which she isn't), then isn't that McCain and his staffers fault for choosing her?
