Bipartisanship

We should have a pretty good idea of how Harry Reid plans to "reach across the aisle" and govern with bipartisanship after his meeting this afternoon with Joe Liebermann.

Of course, Senator Liebermann was a very vocal supporter of Senator McCain and even spoke at the Republican Convention. He is considered an Independent, but he has caucused with Democrats and was the former Democratic nominee for Vice President in 2000.

I'm going to go out on a limb here and say the Senator Liebermann will lose his chairmanship position of the Senate Homeland Security Committee and for the most part will be black balled by the Senate Democrats.

Have you ever really listened to Democrats when they talk bipartisanship. For the most part, bipartisanship to a Democrat is when a Republican crosses over and votes with them. However, when a Democrat crosses over and votes with Republicans they are considered a traitor.

Funny how it works that way.
