Character

It is often said, you can judge a man's character by what he does when no one is looking.

Say what you want about President Bush. I voted for him twice, I've agreed with him more often than I've diagreed with him. I'm not thrilled with how he's expanded government over his presdiency nor how he's handled the current financial crisis.

However, I've always respected him as a person.

This story, says a lot about the man, George W. Bush. His approval ratings in the tank, he very easily could have used this as an opportunity to help his popularity. Instead, he chose to do this in private and without the media in tow.
