How's that diplomacy working?

Guess that Obama and Ahmadinejad aren't reading from the same teleprompter.

Iran's Leadership Ignores Obama Outreach, Says World Powers Cannot Block Nuclear Program

Neither Ayatollah Ali Khamenei nor Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad noted Obama's attempt to make a "new beginning" with their country in recorded messages they issued to mark the Iranian New Year.

All that talk during the campaign about befriending our enemines and not isolating them sure sounded nice, but reality sure can be a tough pill to swallow.

Guess Bush wasn't as big of an idiot as our "fearless reader" convinced some of you to believe.

OHHHH...so THAT's why he uses a teleprompter

While our "fearless reader"..er, sorry, my bad, "fearless leader" was out doing Leno last night he decided to poke fun at his bowling skills at the expense of the Special Olympics.

He also said he had been practicing bowling. "I bowled a 129," Obama said. "It was like Special Olympics or something." The White House issued a statement saying Obama's remark "in no way intended to disparage the Special Olympics," the Politico reported.

Wow, we though the Vice Presdient was going to be the gaffee machine.

I guess now we are seeing why he has that teleprompter. If he doesn't, there's no telling what he'll say.

Let's face it, everyone wants to talk about how wonderful Obama is with words, and he is, as long as he can read them. Let's drop all this talk about him being a man with a golden tongue and say what he really is, a many with golden eyes.

If you'd like to learn more about Obama's teleprompter, you can go to it's blog. That's right, Obama's teleprompter has a blog. Insert your own joke here.

Hard at Work

I'm so glad that President Obama is hard at work tackling the tough issues facing our country.

Thankfully, he's not wasting him time on issues that don't directly effect the lives of all Americans.

Change we can believe in!

MORE:

Apparently, I'm not the only one who feels like Obama should stick to the important issues at hand...other than who is going to win the NCAA tournament.

Looks like Coach K feels the same way.

It's not that bad...really!

Our fearless leader is coming out today using his most power weapon, his teleprompter....er, his words to try and soothe the fear of Americans during this economic downturn.

Obama is his own words:

"I don't think things are ever as good as they say, or ever as bad as they say," Obama added. "Things two years ago were not as good as we thought because there were a lot of underlying weaknesses in the economy. They're not as bad as we think they are now."

"And my long-term projections are highly optimistic, if we take care of some of these long-term structural problems."

This is a far cry from his words in late February.

"The economy's performance in the last quarter of 2008 was the worst in over 25 years. And frankly the first quarter of this year holds out little promise for better returns,"

Matter of fact, the Seattle Post-Intelligencer told Obama to lighten up.

Everyone just raved during the campaign about how calm, cool and collected Obama was. He never got too high, never got too low, he was just SOOOOO presidential.

Well, it's a lot different when you actually have the job. Obama has been off message and that message has been inconsistent at best.

Bottom line, Americans need a strong and steady leader at times like this and frankly, policies aside (which are wrong too), Obama is failing miserably.

Obama's gonna pay my mortgage

Remember this lady...

Well, apparently, that hasn't quite been the case.

Foreclosures were up 30% in February.

Change we can believe in!!

MORE CHANGE!!

As reported at the Politico:

FBI raids office of D.C. CTO, Obama appointee

Can't wait to hear what this one did. After all of the tax cheats he's tried to get in his cabinet, its going to be interesting to see what kind of criminal Obama's trying to get in the back door of the White House now.

Good thing he's not letting lobbyists into his administration like he said during the campaign...oh, wait, nevermind, he did that too.

Change we can believe in!!!!

UPDATE:

Obama official not the target, per Yahoo News.

But it's different for Rush

So here's the deal. Rush says he wants Obama to fail and he's criticized.

However, when Carville says it about Bush in 2001, it's OK.

Granted, Carville made his comments on September 11, 2001, just minutes before the planes hit the WTC. Carville, rightfully said, "Disregard everything we just said! This changes everything!" He was right about that.

However, that doesn't change the double standard of the Obama media. The reporters never published the comments by Carville then (which is understandable) but when Rush made his comments about Obama failing, Carville's comments were still kept under wraps.

This is just another vivid example of the media's double standard, compared with the feeding frenzy that followed Rush's comments about Obama failing.

And people wonder why newspapers are failing and going out of business. Could be that they quit reporting both sides of the news.

UPDATE:

Mr. Carville responds.

"Thank God that I had the good sense to realize that the United States was at war and that changed everything, Carville said. "Once I found out that the country was at war, I said: Whatever I said, disregard it; it's inoperative."

Are you kidding me?? We were at war from that point forward and we remain at war. While that may have changed Carville's feeling on 9/11 and the days following, it sure didn't stick. If anyone watched CNN during the election of 2004 and 2006, Jim let his feelings on President Bush and his policies very well known. He didn't hold back war or not.

Sorry Jimbo...weak response at best.

President Obama's clumsy, smirky staff is sinking him

"President Obama's clumsy, smirky staff is sinking him"

Guess, what folks, these aren't my words, these are the words of Camille Paglia, a self proclaimed feminist and registered Democrat.

While she is spot on with her criticism of Obama's staff, she is much too easy on President Obama himself.

The President is reponsible for the staff he has put together and they reflect his leadership.

So, if Obama's clumsy, smirky staff is sinking him, THEN Obama is just as responsible as they are.

Judge for yourself, but here is Paglia's stinging article on the current state of the Obama Administration.

I love this

As you can tell, I haven't been posting as frequently. It isn't from a lack of things to say, more so a lack of time to say them.

For some of you, I'm sure you appreicate the fact my life has been somewhat of a blur the last 6 weeks or so.

Anyhow, I've wanted so badly to comment and discuss the total havoc that President Obama is doing to our economy. It's a disaster.

He's raising taxes, he spending money we don't have (which in fairness, Bush did too). But really, every day, another bailout for some sector of our nation that hasn't acted responsibly. To make it worse, folks that we have bailed out already continue to ask for more money we don't have.

Jim Cramer, who some of you have seen on CNBC's "Mad Money" has been very harsh on Obama's policies and what they are doing to the stock market and the economy.

Of course, Obama Spokesman Robert Gibbs, and frankly the rest of the administration, hasn't had to face much if any criticism and hard questions from the press, so they are lashing out at pretty much anyone who criticizes them...including Cramer.

Well, Cramer fought back. Good reading, hope you enjoy.
